Cookies and similar technologies

This page describes cookies and browser storage on the OCD Klinikken website. See the Privacy policy for information about personal-data processing, for example when you use the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter.

Your choice

Necessary features work without your consent. With your choice, we and our current providers may use limited technical information for Analytics and Advertising measurement on eligible public pages. If you reject them, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising do not load, and the website sends no analytics, advertising or cookieless consent-mode data to these providers.

You can select Analytics and Advertising measurement independently. In the cookie settings, you can open each purpose and see the current providers. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Rejecting and accepting are equally accessible.

The public website does not provide its own sign-in or protected course areas in this version. Enrolment and existing private courses are handled in a separate course portal, which your browser only connects to after you follow a course link.

Necessary browser storage

| Technology | Key / scope | Purpose and duration | |------------|-------------|----------------------| | Cookie | ocdk_reading_support | Remembers whether you have enabled reading support and term explanations. Stored for up to 12 months and not used for tracking. | | localStorage | ocdk-theme | Stores your theme preference (light/dark/system) so the interface can honour your choice. | | localStorage | ocdk-audio-progress:v1:* | Stores how far you got in read-aloud audio on a content page so you can continue where you left off. Expires after 180 days and is cleared when playback is nearly finished or complete. | | sessionStorage | rp:knowledge-filters-tablet-open | Temporarily remembers whether the filter panel on knowledge/listing views is open on tablet in the current browser tab — UI convenience only, not tracking. | | sessionStorage | rp:ocd-types-filters-tablet-open | Temporarily remembers whether the filter panel on the OCD types overview is open on tablet in the current browser tab — UI convenience only, not tracking. | | localStorage | ocdk-consent | Stores your consent choices, time, expiry and version locally in your browser. It contains no name, email address or visitor ID and expires after 12 months. |

Optional analytics

If you select Analytics, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> to distinguish visits and produce aggregate statistics. The website configuration limits these cookies to no more than 12 months.

The purpose is to understand overall use of public pages and improve the structure and content. We do not send contact-form content, email addresses, user IDs or clinical messages to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is delivered technically through Google Tag Manager. The container only loads after you accept at least one optional purpose, and each measurement service may only activate for the purpose you selected.

Optional advertising measurement

If you select Advertising measurement, the following current providers may measure whether an advertisement leads to a general action on the website:

  • Google Ads may use first-party cookies in the _gcl_* family. These cookies are normally used for up to 90 days.
  • Microsoft Advertising may use cookies including _uetsid, _uetvid and _uetmsclkid through Universal Event Tracking. Microsoft’s visitor cookie may be used for up to 13 months, and the click-ID cookie for up to 90 days.

We do not use this permission for remarketing, personalised health audiences, profiling, Customer Match, Enhanced Conversions, UET Insights or Microsoft Clarity. Google’s ad_personalization signal is technically fixed to denied even when you accept advertising measurement.

Google Tag Manager delivers the accepted measurement services but is not a separate purpose. Google and Microsoft measurement are completely blocked on technical video waiting rooms, other noindex pages and protected clinical areas.

Booking via EasyPractice

The booking page contains OCD Klinikken’s booking system provided by EasyPractice. The page does not connect to EasyPractice until you actively select View available times and book. When you do, the booking system loads on the page and EasyPractice may use necessary cookies and browser storage for purposes including session handling, security and completing the booking.

EasyPractice currently sets session cookies for up to 24 hours. The provider may change its technical implementation; see the EasyPractice cookie policy and privacy statement for details. The click-to-load approach means that EasyPractice is not contacted during an ordinary visit to the booking page before you choose the booking feature.

Registration for talks similarly opens a separate EasyPractice flow after an active click. An ordinary visit to the talk page does not connect to EasyPractice.

Course portal via LearnWorlds

The course presentation is hosted on OCD Klinikken’s website. When you select Enrol in the course or My courses, you continue to the separate course portal at kurser.ocdklinikken.dk, which is operated using LearnWorlds.

An ordinary visit to the course page does not send a request to LearnWorlds. Only after you follow a course-portal link may the portal use its own strictly necessary cookies and browser storage for purposes such as accounts, sign-in, payment and course access.

See the course portal’s cookie policy and privacy policy for the current information about the portal.

Video consultations via Whereby

The technical waiting-room pages contain a video room provided by Whereby. The page does not connect to Whereby until you actively select Open video room. When you do, Whereby loads on the page and may use its own cookies, browser storage and technical data processing to provide the video call.

See the Whereby cookie policy and privacy policy for details. The click-to-load approach means that Whereby is not contacted during an ordinary visit to the page before you choose the video feature.

Updates

We update this page when the website technology, purposes or providers change. A new measurement provider triggers technical and privacy review and a new consent choice. The final production Google and Microsoft configuration and retention choices will be reviewed before activation.
